The mechanics matter

Why we say no to floral foam

Floral foam is a plastic product that can shed microplastics and is difficult to recover after one event. We leave it out of every wedding design.

Your flowers still have structure. Chicken wire, moss, reusable flower frogs and water tubes hold each stem securely, then return to our studio for another celebration.

Wedding detail Our foam-free approach What happens next
Centrepieces Reusable frogs, chicken wire and glass vessels Vessels are collected, washed and stored
Bouquets Hand-tied stems with natural twine and ribbon Stems can be dried or composted at home
Installations Moss, branches and water tubes fixed without plastic foam Structures are hired again where practical
Green waste Seasonal foliage with careful stem planning All suitable waste goes to composting

Every design is planned around safe transport, easy placement and a clean collection after the reception.

Zero floral foam

We have removed it from our wedding work completely.

Reusable mechanics

Strong, practical supports make beautiful sustainable wedding centrepieces.

Natural materials

Moss, twine, branches and living plants bring texture without single-use plastic.

Flowers with a sense of place

British-grown, seasonal flowers

Over 80% of our flowers are British-grown when they are in season. They arrive fresher, support local growers and travel a shorter distance to Heswall.

Winter designs use flowers from ethical European growers when British stems are resting. The look stays natural, and the sourcing stays clear.

April–MayRanunculus, tulips, blossom and early peonies.
June–JulySweet peas, roses, delphiniums and flowering herbs.
August–SeptemberDahlias, cosmos, scabious and British-grown wildflowers.
October–MarchSeed heads, branches, foliage and carefully sourced winter stems.

A better fit for Cheshire seasons

We plan colour and texture around what is growing, rather than forcing a fixed flower list.

Wildflower character

British-grown stems bring movement, scent and the loose shape many couples want.

Clear choices

Your consultation includes honest guidance on availability, origin and seasonal substitutions.

More beauty, less waste

Designed to be repurposed

We map the movement of your flowers before the first stem is ordered. One installation can work twice.

1

Ceremony

Aisle flowers, welcome arrangements and arch pieces frame the vows without disposable supports.

2

Reception

Arch flowers move to the top table. Aisle clusters become bar décor and table arrangements.

3

After the day

Potted plants and bulbs go home with guests, while suitable green waste is composted.

A plan for every stem

We can hire selected structures and vessels so you do not need to buy items for a single date. The final plan covers access, timing, transport and who will move each arrangement.

That detail keeps the day calm. It also makes sustainable wedding centrepieces practical.

Real celebrations, thoughtful choices

Eco-conscious couples love the difference

The details are quiet on the day. The flowers are not.

"We wanted meadow flowers without a bin full of foam afterwards. The team moved our ceremony urns to the dinner tables while guests were having drinks, and every arrangement still looked fresh."
Iyesha Miers
Bride, Heswall
Why did we choose Conway Floral? Because the plan was specific. They explained where the flowers came from, showed us the reusable mechanics and gave each piece a second place at the venue. Our guests noticed the wildflowers, and we noticed how little was left behind.
